Season 1 - The Beginning Rick Grimes awakes in a hospital to find the apocalypse has arrived in the form of the undead. Searching desperately for his family, for answers and safety, he takes a journey through Atlanta that marks the beginning of an endless struggle to survive.

An accident in the forest leads the group to a farm that is seemingly untouched by the disasters. With threats of the undead from without and dissent from within the group, tragedy seems inevitable for the fragile alliance.
